Staff and Members

Rachael is responsible for the overall operational management of Clippers Basketball.

Rachael is a former Australian Opal player and was captain of the Townsville Fire leading them to their inaugural WNBL Championship in 2005. She also has a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Zoology!

Christie is integral to the smooth running of Clippers by covering a range of roles from management and administrative aspects to canteen, venue bookings, and social media coverage.

Christie has a Diploma in Share Trading/ Finance & her Real Estate license. She loves plants, collecting vinyl records & going camping.

Wendy is responsible for the day-to-day management of all administrative aspects of Clippers Basketball including registrations, fixtures, draws and membership management.

Wendy was a Clippers junior and has 4 kids who have all played or are playing currently. She loves a long weekend away up the beach working on her tan!

Deb is responsible for the smooth running of our Clippers Basketball competitions including structuring teams and divisions. She is also responsible for the running of our Saturday morning Mini Clippers program.

Deb has been involved with Clippers for nearly 40 years, she is also a mad Bronco’s supporter (don’t hold that against her) and has a Burmese cat named Duddley.

Larissa assists across a range of areas here at Clippers from coaching and canteen duties to running our ladies social competition on a Friday morning.

Larissa has 3 kids all currently playing here at Clippers and is struggling to find time to bungie jump again!

Yana is responsible for the smooth running of our canteen and bar area, including ordering and stock control.

Yana had a palomino (horse) named Topaz that she received for her 11th birthday and used to competitively show.

Amanda is responsible for the development, coaching and rostering of our referees at Clippers Basketball.

Amanda is also known around here as the crazy plant lady!
