STEVE MIDDLETON
General Manager
Role
Steve is responsible for the operational and financial management of the Clippers Basketball Club.
Fun Facts
Steve has managed not-for-profit clubs for over 35 years having recently spent 25 years in golf clubs and golf management. He has not played competitive basketball since the age of 25, having reached the level equivalent to NBL 1 of today. Steve lives in the Moreton Bay hinterland with his wife, 3 kids and a range of different animals.
Wendy Byrne
Admin Manager
Role
Wendy is responsible for the day-to-day management of all administrative aspects of Clippers Basketball including registrations, fixtures, draws and membership management.
Fun Facts
Wendy was a Clippers junior and has 4 kids who have all played or are playing currently. She loves a long weekend away up the beach working on her tan!
Deborah Stingel
Competitions Manager
Role
Deb is responsible for the smooth running of our Clippers Basketball competitions including structuring teams and divisions. She is also responsible for the running of our Saturday morning Mini Clippers program.
Fun Facts
Deb has been involved with Clippers for nearly 40 years, she is also a mad Bronco’s supporter (don’t hold that against her) and has a Burmese cat named Duddley.
Larissa Allison
Competitions Assistant
Role
Larissa assists across a range of areas here at Clippers from coaching and canteen duties to running our ladies social competition on a Friday morning.
Fun Facts
Larissa has 3 kids all currently playing here at Clippers and is struggling to find time to bungie jump again!
Amanda Wells
Referee Coordinator
Role
Amanda is responsible for the development, coaching and rostering of our referees at Clippers Basketball.

Amanda is also known around here as the crazy plant lady!
WALLACE WILLIAMS
Coaching Coordinator
Role
Wal is responsible for the development and support of all coaches within Clippers Basketball. He provides continuous assistance to our volunteer weeknight coaches to ensure successful competitions and manages the coordination of coaches for Clippers training and other basketball programs. Additionally, Wal oversees our holiday programs and organises coaching courses for all our coaches at Clippers Basketball.
