What uniform do I play in & what do I bring to a game?
At Clippers we supply singlets for your games. These are available at the end of each court prior to your game and must be returned into the washing buckets (turned in the correct way) at the end of every match. Singlets are utilised on more than 1 night so must be returned at the conclusion of every game.

Shorts are to be supplied by the player, you are permitted to wear plain black shorts or purchase a pair of Clippers shorts from the canteen.

Can I play with my friends?
We try our best to accommodate friends playing together however this is not always possible as we aim to make the teams and competitions even.

Prior to each season we allow players to give one friend recommendation for the upcoming season.

Who coaches the team?
We are a volunteer club and always looking for coaches to assist in coaching teams with most teams coached by parents.

If you are keen to coach a team, please see our Competitions Coordinator on game night or contact our admin office. Please email us at [email protected] or call us on (07) 5444 8877

I’m considering being a sponsor, what does that involve?

We love our sponsors here at Clippers Basketball and have several options available including signage and uniform sponsorships. If you are keen to become a sponsor here at Clippers, please contact our operations manager Rachael at [email protected]

Do you have a lost and found?
Yes, we have a dedicated lost and found area in the foyer near court 1, any smaller goods or items of value are held in the office until someone comes to collect.

At the end of each season, we post the lost and found items on social media and if not collected within 7 days donate them to charity.

My son/daughter is away or sick, who do I notify to let them know they cannot play that week?
It is best to notify your coach or another player in the team however if this is not possible you can give us a call or email prior to your game, and we can pass the message on.

If most of your team is away for a known upcoming event eg. School camp, please let us know in advance so we can give your team the BYE that week to ensure minimal disruption to the competition.

What is a BYE?
Some age groups have an odd number of teams and therefore you will rotate through a scheduled week off also known as a BYE.
What is Mini Clippers?
Mini Clippers l is our introduction to basketball program for boys and girls aged 6-9 years.
This program is run in 8-week blocks during school term on Saturday mornings and is split into U8 and U10 boys and girls sessions. Full details with term dates and pricing is available here.
Where can I find my game time?
In the Basketball Connect app you can add your team to your watchlist to see all game times for the season. You need to first search for “Suncoast Clippers” and then for your team’s name (be careful it is the correct age group and division as some teams have the same name)
I want to be a referee, who do I contact?
Our club would not run if it was not for our amazing referees and we are always looking for more.

If you are keen to become a referee or interested in when our next intake for new referees is happening, please contact our referee coordinator Amanda at [email protected] or see our admin staff.

Do you accept QLD Government Fair Play vouchers?
Yes we do!

When you register your son or daughter prior to reaching the payment page on the Basketball Connect app there is an “+ Add Gov Voucher” under the Discount Code tab. This is where you fill in your voucher number to have your Fair Play voucher amount discounted from your season fees.

Due to how the vouchers are redeemed in, your Fair Play voucher discount can only be used off from your Clippers Games Fees and is unable to be used for your Basketball Queensland registration or SC Phoenix Affiliation fee.

Do you have a social competition?
