Junior Basketball
Clippers Basketball holds a weekly junior competition that is played all year round during a Summer and Winter season:
- Summer Season: October to March during terms 1 and 4 of the school year
- Winter Season: April to September during terms 2 and 3 of the school year
Games are played on multiple week nights. New players are welcome to join if there is availability. The competition is built around the number of players registered by the registration close date. Please ensure you have registered by this date to ensure you are guaranteed team placement and avoid disappointment.
If you are new to the club before registering please contact the admin office to confirm availability in your selected age group. If there is a position available you will be allocated depending on your child’s ability and experience.

Registration is completed online only via your Basketball Connect profile in the app – download the app via the link below. Registrations for the Summer Season open on Monday, 17th August. And close on Monday, 28th September. There is no guarantee of team placement if registering after this date. Prices listed include Phoenix Affiliation fee ($30).
For new players under 18, please have a parent register first as the owner of the account, then you need to add any children as a “NEW PARTICIPANT” family member.

All players must be registered with Clippers Basketball and Basketball Queensland to participate in our competitions.

- $91.47 for Players aged 10 and older
- $52.06 for under 10 Players
