Junior Basketball
Clippers Basketball holds a weekly junior competition that is played all year round during a Summer and Winter season:
- Summer Season: October to March during terms 1 and 4 of the school year
- Winter Season: April to September during terms 2 and 3 of the school year
Games are played on multiple week nights. New players are welcome to join if there is availability.
If you are new to the club before registering please contact our Competitions Coordinator Deb to confirm availability in your selected age group. If there is a position available she will arrange your team allocation depending on your child’s ability and experience.

Our junior competitions start from Under 12 through to U21s.
Age group classification for the upcoming WINTER 2024 Season is as follows:
- U12 Boys and GirlsYear Born 2013/14

Registration
Clippers Junior Players Registration Fees*
All players must be registered with Clippers Basketball and Basketball Queensland to participate in our competitions.
- Basketball Australia Game Day Levy (12 Months):
- $5.50
- Basketball QLD Insurance (12 Months):
- $75.26 for Players aged 10 and older
- $37.63 for under 10 Players
- Price below includes Season Phoenix Affiliation fee
- Payment plans for club/game fees will be considered by request please email [email protected] to request payment plan

WINTER SEASON EARLY BIRD

Registration is completed online only via your Basketball Connect profile in the app – download the app via the link below. Registrations open for 2024 Winter season Sunday 10th March 2024.
For new players under 18, please have a parent register first as the owner of the account, then you need to add any children as a “NEW PARTICIPANT” family member.
